Forging a Family of 5-1600 Racers for the Future!

BAJA COALITION NEWS

Attention all 5-1600 racers

The Baja Coalition Reports:
When the Coalition members speak – We will listen.

An Important decision has been made due to the high volume of 5-1600 racer feedback.

The Best In The Desert Parker 425 "Blue Water Resort & Casino" race has been cancelled for the Baja Coalition. The SNORE "Battle at Primm", Nevada, a 2 day event, will be held in its place February 17-19.

It is the Baja Coalition’s intention to support the 5-1600 racers, and to make the sport of Off-Road racing all that it can be for the 5-1600 class. Please come join the Baja Coalition with SNORE in this awesome battle of the racers in February for a great time and awesome contingency payback and awards.

Baja Coalition Director

Attention all 5-1600 racers.

Subscribe to the Baja Coalition newsletter.

The Baja Coalition would like to welcome your team to join us this year in our five event race series.

Subscribe to the Baja Coalition newsletter. This circulation is just the beginning of what we hope will continue throughout the years. Articles that you can look for in future newsletters will include up to date rules and race information, race bios, and other articles that you as an off-road enthusiast may want to know, and see. Look for it in your mailbox, or go online to www.bajacoalition.net.

Open letter from the director

The Baja Coalition is proud to announce its intention to host a 2006 five event race series.

Coalition Director Win Deen says, “It is our goal to forge a family of 5-1600 racers who will help to perpetuate the great sport of off-road racing into the future. We sincerely hope you will include our events in your racing plans for 2006.”

The Baja Coalition charges a nominal entry fee per race for 5-1600 teams to participate in its series. One third of this money goes directly to the Coalition winner of each event, one third toward the Coalition Series championship purse, and one third toward the ongoing promotional expenses of the Coalition. Remember, the Coalition has no paid personnel.

The money you put into the Coalition promotes Coalition events and memberships putting more money right back into your pocket. The Coalition is providing additional incentives to its participants, as well, such as winning driver/team feature articles on the Coalition website. Plans are also in the works to place an in car camera in a Coalition vehicle for each of the Coalition events. The Coalition is well under way in enlisting a fine group of sponsors for our series which will provide even more purse money, contingency prizes, tires, parts and services to our winning teams, and pit efforts.

The Baja Coalition will, this year, be providing a Coalition Main Pit for its family of racers, complete with mechanic support, welding capability, medical safety staff, and communications. It is our desire to work with you to make the 2006 off-road racing season an outstanding one. Building a true family of 5-1600 racers is our primary goal. There are many Coalition functions that will require additional personnel from the various race teams if we are to make the Coalition all that it can be.

Please take a moment to review all the information about the Coalition’s efforts and contact us to discuss how the Baja Coalition can be a mutually beneficial endeavor for 5-1600 racers, off-road sanctioning bodies, and the spectacular sport of off road racing.

We can’t wait to talk to you.
