Score Rule Changes for Baja Bug 5 1600, (From Score International Website)

Power steering will be allowed as of January 1, 2006. Dual-port heads will be allowed in the following class; 1-2-1600, 5-1600, Class 9, and Class 11. The following restrictions will apply: Only heads from VW of Brazil, part number 040 101 375 2 will be allowed. Single port heads remain the same as stated in the SCORE 2003-2006 Rule Book. Intake manifold is restricted to stock center section, and stock end castings. No porting or polishing. Balancing slot may be welded close. The only carburetor adapter that is allowed is the EMPI part number 98-1293-B. The restrictor plate will be located between the carburetor and the adapter. At this time we are still testing and have not decided if the dual-port motors will be required to run a different size restrictor plates.
